format planche 3x2,5 m environ, 2015-2016

 

Caché dévoilé, montré dissimulé. Cette dualité ne passe pas

d’un état à un autre, il y a toujours un entre deux, le moment

où, la main glisse, attrape le bouton, l’accroche, l’attache.

Il y a le geste, arrêté sur image, une tentative de narrativité,

sous forme d’une sorte de zootrope ou de bande dessinée.

Décomposer le geste pour mieux l’étudier, pour mieux le

comprendre, comment passer d’un état à un autre, de l’habillé

à la nudité, de la force à la fragilité. Corps qui disparaissent

dans le papier, le graphite s’amenuise, gommés et regommés.

Plus les corps se dénudent, plus ils disparaissent. Laisser

la place au vide, et le mettre en exergue par son absence.

Réfléchir sur la représentation du nu

féminin à l’époque contemporaine.

 

Hiding and showing. A duality which doesn’t pass from a state to another without an in between. The moment where the hand slide, catch the button. There is the gesture, pause, and then an attempt to create a narrativity in the form of a zoetrope, or a comic book. Decomposing the gesture, to study it better, to understand it better. How to pass from one state to another, from the dressed to the naked, from strengh to fragility.

Bodies disapear into the paper too, the graphite faded,

rubbed and rubbed, the more naked the body is,

the more it disapear, letting place to emptiness

and highlighting it by its absence.
